 Raising the Flags
These images portray a typical effort to raise flags on display at Veterans of Foreign Wars Bensen Post 2503. Through the effort of volunteers such as those pictured here, the proud traditions of Post 2503 are on display within our community.  Each of the flags flown, with the exception of the Service Flags and the largest United States flag, are donated casket flags from deceased veterans who were members of VFW Post 2503.  Flags are flown on occasions such as Memorial Day, Veterans Day and other 'special' occasions. This occasion was Veterans Day week-end, November 10, 2012 through November 12, 2012.
