POW/MIA Recognition at Benson Post 2503
Please come join members and friends at the Benson VFW Post 2503 on September 18, 2020 at 6 p.m. as we commemorate National POW/MIA Recognition Day. We will have a special program to remember those who were prisoners of war and those who are missing in action. The Governor of Nebraska, Pete Ricketts, and Master Gunnery Sergeant Terrance Meekins, USMC will be guest speakers.
The ceremony will take place in the South Room. Cake and coffee will be served afterwards with a no host bar.
Chris Saklar, a renowned Omaha area musician, Douglas County Deputy, and Korean Veteran has passed away. His family is having his celebration of life Saturday, October 3, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Immediately following, the Karaoke will begin from 7 p.m. until ???? Bring your friends and enjoy this night out.
Registration from 10 a.m. to Noon. Awards at 3:00 p.m.
