HONOR GUARD COMPLETES VERY BUSY AUGUST
Post 2503 Honor Guard completed 36 funerals during August, 2020. It was one of the busiest (and hottest) months in a long time. We did 10 funerals in the fourth week, and on August 26th we did 4 funerals in one day, which was a first in modern times. We have averaged 7-10 members present for almost all these funerals.
Every Post member should be proud of our Honor Guard, who complete more military honors annually than any VFW Post in the State of Nebraska. VFW Post 2503 Honor Guard members are not compensated for the military honors they perform every week, rain or shine.
