To give our hard-working bartenders a break before our Memorial Day Celebration Monday, May 31, 2021, the Post WILL BE CLOSED Sunday, May 30. No Card Players, either. Enjoy a day at home, celebrating.
Post Commander Larry Quilliam will host the Ceremony, assisted by the Honor Guard. Our speakers include VFW Law Enforcement Officer of the Year, Omaha Police Department Detective Sherry King, and VFW EMT of the Year, Omaha Fire Department EMT Danielle Boutcher. We are proud our nominees were the top picks for these awards.
Our Honor Guard will take part in the ceremony and we will host a free will donation Baked Spaghetti dinner.
We would like to ask if anyone could stay and help take down/fold flags at 5:00 p.m., we could use the help. Thank you in advance.
